Halloween

Emily and Cassy carved pumpkins at school and then used them to decorate our trunk for "Trunk or Treat" at church.

(Emily came up with the designs.)

Pumpkin shirts

Cassy, Emily, and Riley made tie-dye pumpkin shirts for all the Boise cousins for Halloween.

Back to School

Emily and I were ready to head back to school and start 4th grade! (School started this year on Aug. 25th.) Emily is in Mr. Partin's class this year and they have 32 kiddos! I have only 31 as of now and am teaching in the room next to Emily.
This should be a great year!

Birds of Prey

Emily and her buddy Natalie headed out to the Birds of Prey center south of Boise to check out some awesome birds.

This is what they would look like if they had eyes as big as a bird!

Oregon Trail Museum

On our way home from Nana and Papa's house in July, we stopped in Baker City, OR to check out the Oregon Trail Museum. Emily will be studying and Cassy will be teaching this information in the upcoming school year. It was really interesting and we hope that we can come back when we have time to hike down and see the wheel ruts.

Anniversary trip

We paused at after #6 and took this picture with

Kevin's favorite of the day was #6 from the "Tree House," a platform 105 feet up in the air.

As Cassy is deathly afraid of heights, this was not the favorite for her!

She liked line #7 where you ran off a platform and launched yourself over the forest.
